If You Are a Small Business, use a Samsung SCX-4826FN Printer

January 22nd, 2010 Posted in blog

When it came to LaserJet printers you could not get me to budge from the HP brand, until I picked up a Samsung SCX-4826FN for a residential client of mine. It puts my HP LaserJet 3050 to shame, and the price was way less.

I bought the SCX-4826FN for $199.99 on sale at OfficeMax, and probably should have bought me one too, because I see that the lowest you can get it now is $225 on Amazon with free shipping
, which isn’t a bad deal, since everyone else is selling for $299.99.

But back to the pritner, Not only does it print 30 pages every minute, but it has a document scanner and a flatbed scanner which is something I miss. Is has a network port, which means you can share ALL of the features with everyone in the house or office.

I believe the best part of this printer is that it has a duplexer, which mean you can print on both sides of the page with a simple click, instead of trying to figue out of to turn the paper and reinsert it into the printer yourself.

Not long ago, you could only print over a network, but the SCX-4826FN allows you to scan and fax over your network.

This is not a heavy duty printer by any stretch, so if you are printing 10,000 pages a month you will not be happy. If you are a home office worker or run a small office with 10 people or less this is excellent and reliable.

My client is not “computer savvy” as she says, but she was able to use all of the features with minimal thought.
